"Jerusalem Below" is a program that focuses on underground creation in the city of Jerusalem, with an emphasis on extreme music.

In my view, there is something about living in the most complex city in the world that shapes art to be coarse, uncompromising, tough, and unexploited.

Noise and Jerusalem's experimental scene have no competition anywhere else in the country, both in terms of the number of artists operating within the experimental stream, and the venues that support this art within the city.

It is unprecedented in comparison to other cities in Israel.

In the program, I chat with key figures from the Jerusalem scene in the past and present, trying to understand where and if it is reflected in their work, why they choose to continue living and creating here despite the difficulties (or why they leave), and what the connection is between the cultural richness of the stream and the nature of creation to the city's residents.
